Kuwait – Mubasher: Livestock Transport and Trading posted a fall of 28% in profits during the third quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings shrank to nearly KWD 541,900 ($1.78 million) in Q3-16 from about KWD 752,270 ($2.5 million) in Q3-15, according to a bourse statement issued Monday.
During the nine months ended 30 September, 2016, profits decreased 28.64% to KWD 2.56 million from KWD 3.58 million in the corresponding period of 2015.
The lower profits resulted from a decrease in the company’s external sales, the firm clarified.
