Local buying boosts QSE Tuesday

Mubasher: Local investors’ buying bolstered the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Tuesday, amid foreign selling.

Total Qatari purchases amounted to QAR 19.37 million, while Gulf buyers netted QAR 530,000.

By the end of the mid-week session, foreign sell-offs recorded QAR 19.89 millon, compared to Monday.

The QSE’s liquidity jumped to QAR 521.45 million, up from QAR 335.93 million on Monday, while trading volume increased to 23.95 million shares, compared to QAR 15.84 million shares the day before.

Market capitalisation rose 1.09% recording QAR 492.15 billion versus QAR 486.89 billion in the previous session.​
