Local development ministry to supply electricity to 26 communities in Sinai

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s ministry of local development will pay EGP 60 million as a second tranche to the ministry of electricity and renewable energy to complete electricity supply for 26 development communities in North and South Sinai.

The North African country’s electricity and renewable energy ministry along with the Armed Forces Engineering Authority have agreed to supply 26 development communities in North and South Sinai with electricity at a cost of EGP 279 million, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing the local development minister, Mahmoud Sharawy, as saying.

The local development ministry previously disbursed EGP 126 million as a first tranche for the project.
