Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) fell at Monday’s open by 0.15% or 19.62 points to the level of 13,596.42 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices rose 0.31%, 0.22%, and 0.27%, respectively.
By 10:25 am Cairo time, trading volume reached 109.16 million shares exchanged at EGP 124.7 million through 3,400 transactions.
Egyptian investors were net sellers by EGP 7.2 million, while foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 6.2 million and EGP 1.3 million, respectively.
The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) declined 0.41% to EGP 83.5. Juhayna fell 1.68%, and Ghabbour shrank 1.38%.
On the other hand, Amer rose 5.26%, Orascom Telecom advanced 1.23%, and Arabian Cement ascended 0.86%.
