Dubai-Mubasher: The Emirati group LuLu Group will open eight new branches in Indonesia by 2018.
Situated on 200,000 square foot, the second hypermarket was opened on Wednesday, 6 September, in BSD City, Tangerang, Indonesia, according to a company statement.
“With an initial investment of $300 million in the first phase, we plan to open 10 hypermarket and department stores by the end of 2018 and a central logistics and warehousing facility in Jakarta. These projects are likely to generate more than 5,000 job opportunities for Indonesians, chairman of LuLu Group Yusuffali M.A. said during the inauguration celebration.
LuLu is firm on its planned investment of $500 million in Indonesia in the next three years.
