Lulu Group expands in Abu Dhabi

UAE – Mubasher: Lulu Group International, owned by the UAE-based Indian billionaire Yusuff Ali M.A., has opened a new Lulu Express Freshmarket shop in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi.

The newly opened branch brings the total number of stores to 178 globally, according to a press release.

The shop was inaugurated by Hamdan bin Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the presence of LuLu Group’s chairman and managing director Yusuff Ali M.A.

Yusuff Ali M.A. commented: “Our goal is to provide the best quality products at the most affordable prices to our multi-ethnic clientele base.

We make sure that our LuLu brand is always accessible to not only the shoppers residing in key cities, but more importantly to farther locations where people don’t need to drive long distance to enjoy world-class shopping. This is our first ever store in Saadiyat Island and we will open new stores in other suburbs of Abu Dhabi."

On 5 August, Lulu Group announced the opening of its 177th hypermarket at Nazir Plaza in Ajman.
