MBF group to build AED 1.1bn education, medical projects in Egypt

Dubai – Mubasher: MBF group, a diversified UAE-based group operates in healthcare, IT, and retail spanning across the MENA region, has unveiled AED 1.1 billion large medical city and global science university in Cairo.  

MBF is planning to launch another medical city in Saudi Arabia in September and to complete the design of another hospital in Dubai, according to a company statement.

"There are other investments in the real estate sector through a group of properties on the Nile Cairo, which we will build in the form of residential towers and will be at the highest level,” MBF’s founder and chairman Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qasimi commented.

The AED 650 million Medical City will be opened in Madinaty, New Cairo, and will be completed in three years, MBF noted. 

The new medical city comprises seven main elements including a public hospital, a recreation park, a nursing academy, and a medical centre, MBF group revealed.

"We in the MBF Group, especially Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qasimi, are very interested in investing in Egypt and in the development of many sectors,” senior business development advisor to the MBF Group Ahmed Gavish said.
