MENAREC to tackle region’s renewable energy investments

Kuwait-Mubasher: The investments proposed for renewable energy projects in the Middle East and North African (MENA) exceed $75 billion, said head of the preparatory Committee of the Sixth Conference and Exhibition of Renewable Energy in the Middle East and North Africa (MENAREC 6).

The conference, which will be held in Kuwait during the period from 4 to 6 April, would tackle latest renewable-energy innovations, rising production, and proposed investment projects in the field, Kuwait News Agency quoted a Tuesday statement by the committee president Saad Al-Jandal as saying.

Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) will host the event, bringing together nearly 400 energy officials and experts from the MENA region.
