Cairo – Mubasher: MSCI Inc announced it has removed Misr Fertilizers Production Co (Mopco), listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), from its the MSCI Global Small Cap Index.
The decision will be effective as of 30 November, according to the index complier’s semi-annual review report.
In February, Eastern Co was added to the MSCI EM Large Cap Index, replacing EFG Hermes.
Meanwhile, EFG Hermes replaced El Sewedy Electric and moved to the MSCI EM Large Cap Index.
