MSCI removes SAIB from Saudi index for leading companies

Riyadh – Mubasher: Morgan Stanley Capital Index (MSCI) announced removing the Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB) from MSCI Saudi Arabia Index for leading companies.

There were no amendments on MSCI Saudi Arabia Small Cap Index.

MSCI Index for leading companies includes 32 firms, while Small Cap Index comprises 42 companies.

MSCI launched its indices for Saudi Arabia since 1 June 2015, amid allowing the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) the foreign direct investments.

By 2:01 pm KSA time, SAIB's stock fell 1.31% to SAR 15.10.
