Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, rose 0.11% or 5.81 points to the level of 5,313.8 points in Monday’s mid trading.
Meanwhile, the Sharia index declined 0.14% or 1.14 points to 824 points.
Turnover reached OMR 884,700 ($2.29 million) as 5 million shares were traded through 299 trades.
The financial sector advanced 0.31%, while the services and industrial fell 0.45% and 0.14% respectively.
Ahli Bank was the top gainer with a 4.05% increase, whereas Al Hassan Engineering was the worst performer after shrinking 6.15%.
United Finance mad the biggest trading volume activity with 907,620 traded shares, and Muscat Bank recorded the highest trading value activity with a liquidity of OMR 204,000 ($529,801).
MSM 30 rose yesterday by 0.33%, while the Sharia index shrank 0.12%.
