Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) benchmark index, MSM 30, rose in Sunday’s early trading by 0.4% or 22.67 points to the level of 5,632.37 points.
The Shariah index also ticked 0.17% or 1.42 point higher to the level of 853.06 points.
Turnover reached OMR 3.87 million ($10.05 million) as 20.01 million shares were exchanged through 908 trades.
Gulf Investment Services Holding was the best performing share after rising 6.84%, while Al Jazeira Services topped losers by falling 0.74%.
Al Anwar Holdings was the most active with a trading volume of 6.37 million shares which were exchanged at OMR 1.44 million ($3.74 million).
MSM 30 rose on Thursday by 0.63% or 35 points to the level of 5,609.7 points.
