Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, rose 0.54% or 27.12 points in Monday’s mid-trading, reaching the level of 5,376.23 points.
The Shariah index leapt to the level of 839.45 points after adding 0.29% or 2.46 points.
Turnover reached OMR 1.66 million ($4.3 million) as 5.61 million shares were exchanged through 318 trades.
Oman Textile topped gainers by increasing 6.62%, while Gulf Investment Services Holding was the worst performer after falling 2.11%.
Al Anwar Holdings was made the biggest trading volume activity with 1.03 million shares traded, whereas Ooredoo Oman made the highest trading value activity with a liquidity of OMR 392,030 ($1.02 million).
The benchmark MSM 30 closed yesterday with a rise of 0.12% or 6.6 points to 5,333.27 points.
