MSM 30 closes 0.22% up

Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market ended Sunday’s trading with a growth of 0.22% or 12.98 points to the level of 5,909.73 points.

Trading volume increased to 19.21 million shares from 13.43 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also rose to OMR 3.72 million from OMR 3.07 million.

The financial, industrial and services sectors rose collectively by 0.47%, 0.39% and 0.04% respectively.

Oman Education and Training Investment led the green list by adding 7.56%, whereas Oman Investment and Finance topped losers with a fall of 0.98%.

Bank Nizwa made the biggest trading volume activity with 3.49 million traded shares, while Bank Muscat owned the highest liquidity of OMR 913,480.
