Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market declined at Tuesday’s close by 0.7% or 40.93 points to the level of 5,780.03 points.
Trading volume increased to 41.71 million shares from 15.61 million shares exchanged on Monday, while turnover decreased to OMR 8.45 million from OMR 27.75 million.
The financial, services, and industries sectors fell collectively by 0.4%, 0.35%, and 0.04%, respectively.
Al Hassan Engineering was the worst performer after falling 3.51%, while Oman Fisheries topped gainers after rising 3.85%.
Oman ORIX Leasing led the trading activity with a volume of 12.7 million shares exchanged at OMR 1.7 million.
