Mubasher: Oman’s MSM 30 index, on Wednesday, closed trading with an increase of 0.07% or 4.1 points to the level of 5,765.05 points.
The index was backed by the positive performance of some blue chips as Oman Cement topped gainers by adding 3.04% and Oman Cables leapt 2.68%.
Trading volume rose to 14.3 million shares from 12.18 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also grew to OMR 2.85 million from OMR 3.14 million.
The industrial, services and financial sectors rose collectively by 0.36%, 0.06% and 0.02% respectively.
Financial Services led the red list after falling by 39.39%.
Bank Nizwa made the highest activity with a trading volume of 4.94 million shares exchanged at OMR 410,310.
