Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market fell at Sunday’s close by 0.1% or 5.55 points to the level of 5,730.97 points.
Trading volume declined to 11.91 million shares from 19.21 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also decreased to OMR 2.18 million from OMR 4.08 million.
Al Hassan Engineering headed losers with a fall of 5.08%, while Gulf International Chemicals topped gainers by adding 2.13%.
The financial and services sectors dropped by 0.16% and 0.15% respectively, while the industrial sector advanced 0.24%.
Bank Muscat, up 0.45%, made the highest turnover of OMR 634,430, whereas Bank Nizwa made the biggest trading volume activity of 5.51 million shares.
