Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Thursday’s session falling by 0.14% or 8.18 points to the level of 5,819.52 points.
Trading volume decreased to 15.1 million shares from 24.55 million shares exchanged on Wednesday, turnover also shrank to OMR 3.24 million from OMR 3.87 million.
The financial and services sectors dropped 0.25% and 0.06% respectively, while the industrial sector rose 0.26%.
Oman and Emirates Investment Holding, down 3.42%, was the top loser, while Al Anwar Ceramic, up 2.96%, was the top gainer.
Al Anwar Ceramic led the trading activity with a volume of 3.16 million shares exchanged at OMR 550,000.
