Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) closed Tuesday in green as its benchmark MSM 30 rose 0.07% or 3.96 points to 5,788.38 points.
The Shariah index, however, declined 0.16% to the level of 882.72 points.
The financial and industrial sectors fell by 0.04% and 0.40% respectively, while the services advanced 0.01%.
Trading volume reached 9.88 million shares exchanged at OMR 1.57 million through 477 trades.
Ahli Bank topped gainers by adding 2.96%, followed by Bank Dhofar with a growth of 1.31%.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera Steel Products led decliners after falling 2.44%.
HSBC Oman made the highest trading activity as 3.83 million shares were exchanged at OMR 374,270.
