Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market closed Sunday’s trading rising 0.08% or 4.69 points to the level of 5,899.14 points.
Trading volume decreased to 1.11 million shares from 12.5 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also shrank to OMR 285,450 from OMR 3 million.
The financial and services sectors grew by 0.2% and 0.07% respectively, while the industrial sector fell by 0.13%.
Al Batinah Development and Investment Holding led the red list with a fall of 3.12%, while Bank Nizwa headed gainers by adding 2.67%.
Al Sharqiya Investment Holding made the highest trading activity as 789,760 shares were exchanged at OMR 110,360.
