Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Sunday’s session rising by 0.1% or 5.81 points to the level of 5,808.43 points.
Trading volume decreased to 19.55 million shares from 26.16 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also shrank to OMR 2.57 million from OMR 5.3 million.
The financial sector advanced 0.37% due to an increase of 7.69% in Al Madina Investment, the top gainer, 1.23% in National Bank of Oman.
The industrial sector levelled up 0.34% as Al Hassan Engineering and Oman Flour Mills rose 1.75% and 1.5% respectively.
The services sector grew 0.01% as United Power advanced 4.78% and Al Jazeera Steel leapt 4.42%, while National bas topped losers after falling 1.45%.
Al Madina Takaful led the trading activity with a volume of 7.35 million shares exchanged at OMR 696,530.
