The Shariah index also shrank by 0.16% to the level of 884.15 points.
The financial and industrial sectors dropped 0.71% and 0.38% respectively, while the services rose 0.02%.
Construction Materials Industries led decliners after falling 3.23%, while Renaissance Services topped gainers by adding 10.17%.
HSBC Oman was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 1.78 million shares, whereas Bank Sohar made the highest liquidity of OMR 220,000.
