Mubasher: Oman’s MSM 30 index declined in Wednesday’s mid trading by 0.39% or 20.95 points to the level of 5,418.23 points.
Trading volume reached 8.65 million shares exchanged by 11:50am Muscat time through 269 transactions, making a turnover of OMR 153 million.
The financial sector declined 0.72% as Bank Dhofar shrank 4%, Bank Muscat dropped 0.99% and Al Anwar Holdings declined 1.23%.
The industrial sector slid 0.22% as Al Anwar Ceramics, down 5.41%, was the worst performer and Galfar Engineering slipped 1.08%, while Oman Cement led the green list by adding 1.79%.
The services sector fell 0.12% due to a decrease of 4.2% in Post Services Corp and 1.43% in Phoenix Power.
