Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market declined in Tuesday’s early trading by 0.03% or 2.01 points to the level of 5,743.95 points.
Trading volume reached 3.37 million shares exchanged through 198 transactions; turnover amounted to OMR 700,920.
By 11:02am Muscat time, the industrial sector dropped 0.23% as Oman Fisheries, down 2.53%, was the worst performing stock and Galfar Engineering shrank 2.4%.
The financial sector decreased 0.02% due to a fall of 1.82% in Al Madina Investment and 1.32% in Al Madina Takaful.
The services sector retreated 0.02%, dragged by a decrease of 0.64% in Ooredoo Oman and 0.34% in Omantel.
Oman Investment and Finance headed the green list with an increase of 1.91%.
