Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market declined in Thursday’s mid trading by 0.13% or 7.42 points to the level of 5,672.73 points.
By 12:30am Muscat time, the industrial sector shrank 0.99% as Al Anwar Ceramics dropped 8.56%, National Aluminium Products slid 7.32% and Oman Fisheries declined 4.76%.
The financial sector retreated 0.41% as Gulf Investment Services Holding, Al Anwar Holdings, Al Izz Islamic Bank and Bank Sohar fell by 4.31%, 1.7%, 1.49% and 1.25% respectively.
On the flipside, the services sector grew 0.01% due to a 2.63% rise in Omantel.
