Mubasher: Oman’s MSM 30 index dropped in Monday’s mid trading by 0.59% or 32.41 points to the level of 5,488.63 points.
By 11:33am Muscat time, trading volume reached 21.91 million shares exchanged at OMR 3.31 million through 317 transactions.
The financial sector slid 0.73%, pressured by a fall of 1.54% in Al Sharqiya Investment and 1.74% in HSBC Oman.
The industrial sector dropped 0.49% as Oman Textile, down 3.12%, was the worst performing stock and Raysut Cement declined 1.31%.
The services sector decreased 0.19% due to the fall in Renascence Services and Phoenix Power by 2.22% and 1.31% respectively.
