Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market, on Tuesday, declined in mid trading by 0.03% or 1.5 point to the level of 5,484.72 points.
By 11:45am Muscat time, trading volume reached 2.14 million shares exchanged at OMR 1,570 through 244 transactions.
The services sector shrank 0.28% as Renascence Services, down 3.08% was the worst performing stock and Ooredoo Oman fell 0.64%.
The industrial sector slid 0.04% due to a decrease of 1.64% in Al Hassan Engineering and 0.6% in Al Anwar Ceramic.
On the flipside, the financial sector rose by 0.11% as Al Madina Takaful, up 1.41%, led the green list.
