Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, kicked off Wednesday’s early trading with a decline of 0.18 or 9.65 points to the level of 5,407.44 points.
Trading volume came to 1.14 million shares worth OMR 175,350 through 51 deals.
The financial sector moved down 0.31%, while the services and industrial sectors were flat.
The market saw 18 shares being traded, of which four went up and 14 stood at the same rates.
Bank Sohar was the top loser as it fell 1.92%, followed by Al Madina Takaful, National Bank of Oman and Anwar Holding with 1.23%, 0.75% and 0.58%, respectively.
MSM 30 closed Tuesday at the level of 5,471.09 points after dropping 0.08% or 4.12 points.
