Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Tuesday’s session rising by 0.59% or 34.07 points to the level of 5,760.95 points.
Trading volume increased to 12.18 million shares from 8.47 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also rose to OMR 3.14 million from OMR 1.73 million.
The financial and services sectors leapt by 0.61% and 0.22% respectively, while the industrial sector fell 0.03%.
Bank Muscat topped gainers by adding 3.5%, while Asaffa Foods led decliners after falling by 2.44%.
HSBC Oman made the biggest trading volume activity with 2.26 million shares.
