Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, rose 0.73 or 39.85 points to 5,580.35 points in mid trading on Wednesday.
Trading volume reached 5.68 million shares worth OMR 950,590 through 399 trades.
The financial and industrial sectors increased 1.26% and 0.47% respectively, while the services sector fell alone by 0.03%.
Out of 29 shares traded, 16 shares moved higher and one declined.
Oman Fisheries was the top gainer after advancing 7.69%, while Omantel dropped alone with a drop of 0.64%.
MSM 30 closed Tuesday 1.24% or about 68.7 points lower to 5,648.5 points.
