MSM 30 inches down 0.01% in mid-trade

Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, edged down 0.01% or 0.61 point in Tuesday’s mid-trading, reaching the level of 5,436.3 points.

The Sharia Index also fell 0.18% or 1.49 point to the level of 837.57 points.

Trading volume reached 7 million shares through executing 372 trades worth OMR 976,700.

Renaissance Services came first in the green list after adding 5.63%, while Raysut Cement headed the red list with a fall of 2.44%.

Raysut Cement’s board of directors recommended in its meeting yesterday cash dividends at 50% of capital for the fiscal year 2015.

Galfar Engineering and Contracting took over trading the biggest trading volume with 2.71 million shares, while Oman United Insurance hit the highest value with liquidity of about OMR 250,000.

The benchmark MSM 30 reached the level of 5,436.91 points after rising 0.46% or 24.63 points.
