Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market kicked off Monday’s session in green, boosted by all sectors.
The benchmark MSM 30 jumped 0.67% or 63.2 points to the level of 5,949 points.
Trading volume reached 2.5 million shares worth OMR 54.167 million after 1,121 trades were closed.
The financial, industrial and services sectors rose 1.49%, 0.43% and 0.05%, respectively.
Nineteen stocks hit the green at morning and nine were in red territories while six were flat.
Al Jazeera steel was the best performer after adding 5.7%, while Construction Material Industry was the lowest after falling 3.45%.
The main index gained yesterday 162.85 points, making the third rise in a row.
