Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of Muscat Securities Market declined in Wednesday’s mid trading by 0.17% or 10 points to 5,829.3 points.
The Shariah index also shrank by 0.14% to the level of 886.2 points.
Trading volume reached 63.2 million shares exchanged through 161 transactions by 11:35 AM Muscat time, making a turnover of OMR 9.7 million.
The financial, services and industrial sectors fell collectively by 0.18%, 0.15% and 0.09% respectively.
Oman Fisheries topped gainers by adding 1.67%, while Takaful Oman headed decliners with a fall of 3.23%.
Ominvest made the highest liquidity of QAR 196,300, whereas Bank Nizwa was the largest-traded stock with a volume860,900 shares.
The index fell on Tuesday by 0.08 to 5,839.28 points.
