MSM 30 loses 21.42 points in mid trading

Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, declined 0.40% or 21.42 points, reaching the level of 5,393.57 points in Monday’s mid trading, amid a fall by all sectors.

Trading volume hit 1.9 million shares worth OMR 514,270 reached through 128 trades.

The market’s three sectors moved down collectively, as the industrial dropped 0.32%, followed by financial and services with 0.21% and 0.19% respectively.

Out of 24 companies took place in mid trading, four shares moved higher, while 10 others shrank and the 10 remaining stayed at the same rates.

Gulf International Chemicals was the top loser after slipping 7.69%, while Muscat Bank was the strongest share with a growth of 1.69%.

MSM 30 closed yesterday declining 0.66% or 36.22 points to reach the level of 5,414.99 points.
