Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) main index, MSM 30, declined 0.11 or 5.92 points to reach the level of 5,496.96 points in Thursday’s early trading.
Trading volume hit 1.03 million shares worth OMR 192,170 through 79 trades.
MSM sectors moved down collectively, as banking and services both fell 0.21%, while the industrial sector plummeted 0.01%.
Out of 17 companies, seven shares dropped and the 10 remaining increased.
Al Madina Investment made the deepest loss after going 3.45% lower, followed by HSBC Oman and Al Suwadi Power which settled lower 1.85% and 1.50%, respectively.
MSM 30 rose yesterday by 0.63% or 34.37 points, reaching the level of 5,502.87 points.
