Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market grew in Monday’s early trading by 0.08% or 4.7 points to the level of 5,697.08 points.
By 11:00am Muscat time, trading volume reached 4.5 million shares exchanged through 100 transactions, making a turnover of OMR 470,610.
The industrial sector was the best performer with a growth of 0.23%, while the financial sector was the worst after falling by 0.12%.
Oman Cement led the green list by adding 2.3%, whereas Bank Dhofar topped losers with a 1.8% decrease.
Bank Nizwa made the highest trading activity with a volume of 3.62 million shares exchanged at OMR 304,300. The stock rose 1.2%.
