Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market closed Monday’s trading at the level of 5,814.71 points, with an increase of 0.11% or 6.28 points.
Trading volume increased to 22.27 million shares from 19.55 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose to OMR 2.25 million from OMR 2.57 million.
The services, financial and industrial sectors grew collectively by 0.34%, 0.05% and 0.05% respectively.
Renaissance Services topped gainers after adding 4.55%, while Construction Materials Industries headed losers after falling 5.56%.
Al Madina Takaful led the trading activity as 7.33 million shares were exchanged at OMR 705,870.
