Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market closed Wednesday’s session in green as its benchmark MSM 30 leapt by 0.19% or 11.1 points to 5,821.6 points.
The Shariah index also rose by 0.22% to 888.95 points.
Trading volume reached 14.5 million shares exchanged at OMR 2.9 million.
The financial, industrial and services sectors leapt collectively by 0.39%, 0.06% and 0.14% respectively.
Al Izz Islamic Bank topped gainers by adding 3.45%, while Sohar Power led decliners with a fall of 2.4%.
Bank Muscat made the biggest trading activity.
