Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market advance at Sunday’s open by 0.26% or 14.76 points to the level of 5,765.72 points.
By 11:00am Muscat time, trading volume reached 2.29 million shares exchanged at OMR 296,660 through 108 transactions.
The financial and industrial sectors rose 0.44% and 1.16% respectively, while the services sector dropped 0.01%.
Bank Sohar topped gainers after adding 1.9%.
