Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Wednesday’s session falling by 0.28% or 16.08 points to the level of 5,795.89 points.
Trading volume increased to 9.25 million shares from 5.33 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also rose to OMR 2.46 million from OMR 2.21 million.
The financial sector advanced 0.62%, whereas the services and industrial sectors dropped 0.62% and 0.27% respectively.
Oman United Insurance topped risers with an increase of 3.51%, while Renaissance Services headed the red list after falling by 4.26%.
Bank Nizwa was the most active stock in terms of trading volume as 2.74 million shares were exchanged, while Ooredoo Oman made the highest turnover of OMR 684,851.
