Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market grew in Monday’s early trading by 0.28% or 16.23 points to the level of 5,767.15 points.
Turnover amounted to OMR 1.79 million as 9.38 million shares exchanged through 317 transactions.
The financial sector advanced 0.69%, backed by an increase of 4.94% in Al Madina Takaful and 2.8% in Al Sharqiya Investment.
The industrial sector ascended 0.58% as Galfar Engineering, the top gainer, leapt 7.23% and Oman Fisheries rose 3.16%. The services sector rose 0.06%.
