Mubasher: Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, leapt 0.30% or 16.05 points to the level of 5,419.72 points in Tuesday’s early trading.
Trading volume reached 7.67 million shares valued at OMR 3.34 million through 72 trades.
The financial and services sectors rose 0.51% and 0.04% respectively, while the industrial sector fell alone by 0.23%.
Ten shares changed hands in early trading, four of them moved higher, two declined and the six remaining were flat.
Dhofar Insurance topped the gainers with 4.27%, followed by Oman Investment and Finance and Bank Muscat which increased 1.28% and 1.26%, respectively.
However, Oman Cables Industry and Oman Cement declined 2.05% and 0.44%, respectively.
Yesterday, MSM 30 dropped 0.21% or 11.32 points to 5,403.67 points.
