Turnover reached OMR 551,910 as 2.54 shares were exchanged through 137 transactions.
By 10:45am Muscat time, the financial, industrial and services sectors rose collectively by 0.5%, 0.45% and 0.01% respectively.
Al Anwar Ceramic topped gainers with an increase of 3.85%, while Al Jazeira Services led decliners with a fall of 0.49%.
National Bank of Oman made the highest activity with a trading volume of 1.7 million shares exchanged at OMR 423,180.
