Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Sunday’s session in green as the benchmark MSM 30 rose 0.75% or 42.31 points to 5,352.01 points.
The Shariah index also leapt 0.39% or 3.34 points to the level of 854.98 points.
Trading volume 37.23 million shares through 1,830 trades. Turnover came to OMR 7.28 million ($18.9 million).
The financial, industrial and services sectors rose collectively by 1.39%, 0.66% and 0.16% respectively.
Out of 49 companies, 27 closed in green, four others dropped and the remaining 18 stood at the same rates.
Al Anwar holdings made the highest trading activity with a volume of 8.47 million shares exchanged at OMR 1.91 million ($4.96 million).
MSM 30 rose on Thursday by 0.63% or 35 points to the level of 5,609.7 points.
