Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market, on Monday, leapt in early trading by 0.32% or 18.53 points to the level of 5,745.41 points.
By 11:15am Muscat time, trading volume reached 2.58 million shares exchanged at OMR 412,450 through 111 transactions.
The financial sector grew 0.69% as Ahli Bank, up 1.4%, was the best performer. HSBC Oman rose 0.85%, the stock made the highest activity with a volume of 930,000 shares and a turnover of OMR 110,680.
Meanwhile, the services and industrial sectors dropped 0.13% and 0.12% respectively.
