Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) benchmark index, MSM 30, opened Tuesday in red, as it edged down by 0.21% or 11.04 points to the level of 5,326.41 points.
Trading volume came to 3.14 million shares worth OMR 1.2 million through 145 transactions in early trading.
The financial, services and industrial sectors dropped by 0.33%, 0.16% and 0.13%, respectively.
Bank Dhofar moved up alone by 2.42%, while Al Sharqiya Investment Holding came first among losers as it nudged 4.44% lower.
The main index closed yesterday with a decline of 0.52% or 27.72 points to 5,337.44 points.
