MSM 30 starts week in red, shrinks 0.24% in early trading

Mubasher: Muscat’s securities Market’s (MSM) main index fell 0.24% or 13.3 points, reaching the level of 5,437.91 points in early trading on Sunday.

Trading volume hit 3.17 million shares worth OMR 666,170 through 109 trades.

The Financial sector slipped 0.46%, followed by services and industrial with a decline of 0.20% and 0.08% respectively.

Al Suwadi Power rose alone by 0.52%, while Oman Investment and Finance led the losers with after shrinking 3.66%.

The benchmark index< MAM 30, closed Thursday with a drop of 0.94% or 51.66 points to 5,451.21 points.
