Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market increased in Sunday’s early trading by 0.19% or 10.93 points to the level of 5,506.97 points.
Trading volume reached 3.01 million shares exchanged at OMR 548,190 through 204 transactions.
By 10:00am Muscat time, the industrial sector grew 0.35%, backed by a 2.13% rise in Galfar Engineering; the stock made the biggest turnover of OMR 648,930. Al Jazeera Steel Products also leapt 1.33%.
The financial sector levelled up 0.24% as Al Anwar Holdings led gainers by adding 3.39%, Al Sharqiya Investment rose 1.48% and HSBC Oman ascended 0.86%.
