Mubasher: Oman’s MSM 30 index rose in Tuesday’s early trading by 0.31% or 16.92 points to the level of 5,512.43 points.
Trading volume reached 2.52 million shares exchanged through 165 transactions by 11:12am Muscat time, making a turnover of OMR 470,050.
Renascence Services, up 3.18%, was the best performing stock, Al Sharqiya Investment rose 3.13% and Galfar Engineering increased 2.22%.
The financial sector advanced 0.48% as Bank Nizwa and Bank Muscat rose by 1.25% and 0.96% respectively.
The industrial sector ascended 0.32% as Al Anwar Ceramic leapt 1.76% and Gulf International Chemicals rose 1.53%.
The services sector added levelled up 0.21%, backed by a growth of 0.53% in Oman Investment and Finance, while United Power led decliners after falling by 4.27%.
