Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, rose in Thursday’s mid- trading by 0.03% or 2.31 points to the level of 5,469.67 points.
Meanwhile, the Shariah index plummeted 0.28% or 0.28 point to the level of 839.84 points.
Mid-trading saw a trading volume of 7.51 million shares exchanged at OMR 1.06 million ($2.75 million) through 341.
Bank Sohar was the best performing share after adding 2.16%, while Al Anwar Ceramic was the worst after falling 6.67%.
Al Madina Takaful was the most traded stock with a volume of 2 million shares, whereas Bank Dhofar made the highest liquidity with QAR 207,870 ($539,922).
MSM 30 closed yesterday with a fall of 1.33% or 73.33 points to the level of 5,467.36 points.
